Hi, this is my first post here and I'm not sure this is the area for my question. Anyway, here it goes: when I was gaming, I've always set my max FPS to 60, as my monitor can only display 60Hz. However, I couldn't feel the difference in game, even though it said ''59.9 FPS'' on the border of the screen. And that happened with almost every game. Then suddenly when youtube 60 fps videos came around, I noticed that it had indeed a huge difference. So my question is, why my games show 60 FPS but It feels 30 FPS? When I see dota2 videos (my main game) in 60FPS, they all seem super smooth, unlike ingame.
I'm using 2x AMD radeon HD 7970 (crossfired but right now disabled), connected to the BenQ monitor (75Hz G-T-G and 60Hz normal) via Dual DVI.
TL;DR - I get 60FPS in game but it doesn't feel as smooth as 60FPS youtube gameplays.
