I bought a RM750i and have installed the Corsair Link 4 software which I believe should allow me to view the current RPM and Voltage in and out of the powersupply as well as the wattage. I am having problems as the software is not displaying the PSU and only displays the Mobo, CPU, GPU, Storage and RAM.

All I want to do is for my PSU to be read by the software.

Thanks for the help and comment if you have any suggestions.

I went to the website to look at the manual and found this: http://imgur.com/eolyLJL

It says that I must connect the PSU to an internal USB header. I'm not quite sure as to whether my motherboard has one of these internal USB headers.

This is my motherboard: H170M-D3SH

They should really add a section under hardware for Power Supplies

Connect to F_USB1 or F_USB2 motherboard header.

I figured that out but i'm not sure where to connect the PSU to the internal USB header on my motherboard. The main post shows my motherboard

sorry, can't see the image you mention

if the usb cable goes to a usb pin header, a cable like this one

USBPNLAFHDX.C.jpg

find in the motherboard the usb 5_6 or 7_8 header or front header or fornt panel usb 1 or 2, be sure to connect the red positive wire on the cable to the pin 1 or 2, but check mainboard to see if that information is correct, we don't want you to burn the usb ports or the psu

I've connected it and it now shows up on the corsair Link software however on the PSU it's blinking a GREEN and ORANGE repeatedly not sure if that's normal.

-edit-
nvm it means that there's data communication between the PSU and the USB controller.
