So yesterday I tried to play Fallout 1 which is installed on one my HDD, and the HDD in its self is divided in to 4 other drives, and fallout 1 was installed on one of the drives. So I click fallout 1 shortcut and the HDD, which is asleep, starts to spin/power up and fallout 1 crashes, which has happened before because it is an old game and it doesn't like when the game needs wait for HDD to wake up. So nothing big there, but at the same time Acronis True Image Monitor also crashes, and it is installed on the same HDD, but different drive. So I notice that all the drives, which the HDD is divided into, have vanished. I try rebooting etc., but nothing works. So far I have reinstalled OS(W7) and that didn't help. The weird thing is my bios can "see" the drive and when I connect powercable to the HDD it turns on. Now in "my computer" view the drives appear VERY SLOWLY, and I am unable actually access them. Only one of the drives shows its actual status(how much space is left). I have tried some tools to scan/access the drive, but the app goes to No Respond "mode" or my system freezes. There are some very personal photos etc. files on one of the drives, so is there anything I can do save them?

i would test them with the make software by unpluging all the hdd and leaving only the os one test it then had one hdd at the time and test it since you write you have many drive one could be near to fail also are they full on there capacity or still have free space on them .

I know excatly which HarD Drive(HDD) is failing that is not the problem. When I plug it in the drives, which I have divided HDD into, appear but I can't access them. What do you mean by "make software"?
