[SOLVED] Need Help | "Select Proprt boot deivce and Restart" Getting this on StartUP

Hello,

I just start my old WD 500GB HDD, because my all Data inside it and i dont want to lose it.

i get my friend's PC (which is in running condition) , i put my WD 500GB HDD in it only.(removed friend's HDD).

when i Start the pc its showing "Reboot and select proper Boot Device".


is My HDD okey or it failed?


How to Solve this problem? how many ways to solve this issue?

If you removed your friends boot drive from his/her PC and put yours in it's place, that was wrong - - it's not going to be able to boot from a "foreign" HDD and that's why you got that error message.

Boot your friends PC in the normal way from it's own HDD, wait until Windows has finished loading, then connect your HDD externally with a SATA-to-USB HDD external connection kit like this:
