Hi guys, i need help selecting a new mother board, a new cpu and new ram. I have a budget of around $200 - $250
My old system consisted of a Gtx 560ti, Asus Sabertooth 990fx with a Amd Athlon II fx 6300 and 8gb ddr3 Kingston 1333mhz ram with a Corsair gs700 powering the system.
I recently got a nice deal on a Gtx 980 which runs games pretty well, but gets bottle necked by the cpu. I'm deciding to go for a modern system so I need a motherboard with ddr4 support which means I need to replace the ram, mobo and cpu .

Thanks for any responses

Solution
Assuming your going to use the same GPU from your last build, I'd look into a ryzen build as the cost and performance you get for them are great.
I'd go for
2x Corsair LPX vengence 8Gb ddr4 2666mhz
MSI Tomahawk B450 motherboard
ryzen 5 1500x (if you can find one on deal) or ryzen 3 2200g
