Need help setting up case fans with new motherboard

I recently replaced my motherboard and my new motherboard only has one 4 pin sys fan header. My case has three fans, but previously only had two connected to the old motherboard. Should I buy a splitter that connects to the 4 pin header or an adapter that connects to my psu?
New motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H

I understand I'll probably lose fan control with the second option buy what about the first?

you can plug 4 pin fans into 3 pin headers. They just won't get to use the extra control feature the 4th pin allows.

As for the adapter that connects directly to your PSU that means the fans will spin at 1 set speed (probably 100%) all the time regardless of how hot the computer is. You'd be better off getting a fan controller if you are considering doing that.
