greetings,i always game on 70-80ms maximum but whenever my family uses the internet i start getting ping fluctuations which sometimes rises to 130ms+,i need to prioritise my pc on the connection but i really don't understand how to use the QOS on this router, i attached screenshots that shows the situation, there are two types, strict prior and WFQ,thank you in advance https://gyazo.com/5a792466d8d1e30ab865b0f42d8f8ebd

It needs both upload and download but your problem isn't the game it does not use a lot of bandwidth it is the other users in your house. The stuff they are running is likely using lots of download bandwidth.

Because you have a DSL connection your options are pretty limited. You generally are stuck with factory firmware. Asus routers tends to have better QoS option in factory images.

Still it will likely be simpler to just yell down the hall "get off the internet I am trying to play my game". All QoS settings do is electronically enforce a agreement they do not magically give you more bandwidth. Someone is going to have to not get what they really want.
It appears your router like most can only affect "upload" traffic rates. In most cases it is the download rates that are being exceeded.

Part of the reason you do not see QoS for download on most routers is you can't actually run QoS. The ISP is in full control if they decide to discard or delay your game traffic and send windows update traffic there is nothing your router can do about it. It is not like it can recreate deleted packets.

Some advanced routers have the ability to limit traffic to fixed rates on the download. This is not really QoS but it has a similar effect it attempt to get the end devices to request less traffic by causing more errors.

Still your first step would be to get a agreement with other family members about how much internet they can use. Someone will not get all they really want so you have to get a agreement that your game actually is more important than whatever they are doing. You can then buy a more advanced route or maybe load third party firmware. You would then assign hard bandwidth limits to each machine. There are also programs that limit bandwidth you can load on end devices. They can in effect limit themselves to a lower rate.
