Hi guys i bought a desktop awhile ago, I'm in need of some advice since i'm not a technical guy,

I bought the pc ready built, And i have added hardware, I added a extra 8gb ram and H80i CPU cooler and a AMD-8350 cpu So i wam kind of concerned about my PSU is it good and is it reliable? I want to start upgrading for a SSD, Gtx 780ti But will i also need a new motherboard for the 780Ti?

My pc specs are as follows:

Cpu AMD 8350 BLACK EDITION

Graphics card : Nvidia GTX 660 TI 2 GB PCI-E Graphics Card With HDMI

Motherboard: gigabyte 78lmt usb3

Ram 16gb corsair Low profile DDR3 1600MHZ

Power supply
750 watt
Atx 12 v compliant for all typers of CPu and mother boards.
Dual 12v Rails
12cm silent fan.
PCI, SATA and 20+4PIN

And thanks! Also my computer case is the Cooler master CM STORM

Your motherboard is fine, although you might want to upgrade in the future to a 990FX board with 6GB/s SATA, full 1600MHz RAM support, etc. But again, your board will be just fine.

What is the exact model of your PSU?

Is there anything on the PSU telling you what it is? Maybe a model number? (Not a serial number, I don't think that will help.)

Please find out what your PSU is. If it's a cheap one, you should get a better one. You will save a lot of heartache (and money!) later.

Alright i Have a coolerMaster storm case,

And 16gb Corsair vengeance low profile ram @1600 mhz,

I want to upgrade to a 1000 watt corsair psu,

And ill be getting a 780 ti gpu.

Can someone give me ideas for a new motherboard a really top end board for Amd 8350 cpu.

Its because i recently had to send a faulty ram stick back due to when playing games my system would get a 3 - 5 second black screen followed by a GRRRR noise then the screen would come back It eventually ended up becoming worse and games started to crash then i got blue screens and it was due to a faulty Ram stick which i sent back and got the replacement back today.

i have 2x8gb sticks.
I only have 2 Blue ram slots on my motherboard not sure if you can use the White slots for ram, Anyway when playing the game again today i got 2 more small black screens caused by me putting in the extra ram,I think it could be more motherboard causing this not sure anyone got suggestions thanks!

Thanks for the advice so far although will the motherboard fit inside my computer case and be able to fit my H80 i water cooler ?

I have the Cooler master Cm storm case,

Also i heard the sabertooth causes problems with the amd 8350 cpu.

Its the enforcer cm storm, really small in comparision to the other cases

Okay, so it's this case. That case supports Micro-ATX and ATX boards, so the boards I recommended will be fine.

Both boards I recommended were ASUS boards, but you could get another trustworthy brand, too. (Like Gigabyte or MSI)

I would definitely suggest getting a 990FX chipset board. They are the best.

Here's some great boards to choose from. They are all compatible with your CPU and case. Just pick one that has the options you want. And you don't necessarily need to buy them from Newegg. Shop around.

Right now, there's a great deal on this board at Newegg.

(Don't worry too much about color, unless you're really sticking to a color scheme, or you just think it's hideously ugly!)

Let me know if you have any more questions!

Thanks alot, I have everything in mind now that i need :), Ill start saving for all the parts since one of them is a gtx 780ti its pricey :) but thanks for your help.
