Need Help & Tips for Xbox One Twitch Streaming

So I recently decided to start livestreaming my xbox one onto twitch. I already have most of my gear, so was wondering what else I needed. (I'm not trying to break the bank right now as I am just starting. Looking to just get off to a good start and upgrade in the future). Here's my setup so far:

TV for Xbox (Soon to be Monitor).
Xbox one.
Elgato Game Capture HD.
OBS software for streaming.
Intel 17 4790k Windows 8 desktop.
Monitor for my desktop.
Basic wireless Logitech mouse.
Basic keyboard.

Now I need advice on headsets and microphones. I am a competitive gears of war player that plays for up to 7 hours a day, so I need a comfy and great sounding headset. I was wondering If i could go for around a $100 comfy/great sounding headset that also has a good mic so I could save some money and have more flexibilty. And just use that for game audio/party chat AND my livestream voice/party chat. Is that possible? Would it work, or not be worth it? If it would work, what would be some good headsets (xbox one) for $100 or less? I have some in mind actually; the HyperX Cloud 2 and Logitech G930. Would either of these work? Which one would be better? Any other recommendations? Or should I opt for a bit more pricier headset since I won't be buying a separate mic? Should I get a wireless headset? Let me know everything!

Now if it would not work to just use a headset for both gaming and as a livestream mic, what would be my best option for a comfy/great sounding headset/headphones ($100 or less) and a livestream microphone ($60 or less)? This would be the more expensive route to go. but if it is absolutely essential then I will do it. I was thinking I could go with a nice pair of headphones and then a separate microphone. Would it be worth it? Is it essential to go this route? A headset and mic I have in mind is the HyperX Cloud and the Blue Snowball or Audio-Technica ATR2100-USB. Or the Superlux hd668b headphones and the AntLion ModMic 4.0s. Would these work good? Any other reccomendations? Let me know everything!

Oh, NOTE I will also be using the mic, (whether it's the headset mic or a separate mic), for youtube as well.

Also, I need to know what equipment/cables I need to livestream my voice AND party chat and how I would go about this. This is where I am utterly confused and completely failed to find any guides or whatever on how streamers do this! For my youtube videos, I use an Astro powered splitter to capture game audio, my voice, and party chat. It works quite well. Would this work for livestreaming as well? I've heard that you need an Astro mixamp and I see alot of streamers with Astro headsets, but I just sold my A50s so really hoping that's not the case...

With the two HyperX, I realized that the mic is detachable and so you can connect any other 3.5mm jack mic to it..so wondering if that would work good

If you care about audio in the slightest, never buy headsets. Headphones, dedicated without mic, have far superior sound quality. If you have something like $250 to spare then I would suggest the Sennheiser HD 598 and something like an Antlion ModMic. Anything less than that and it's not worth getting headphones. It is worth getting expensive headphones (if you can afford it). The difference between a pair of headphones and a (crappy) headset is night and day.

Been researching more and more and have come to the conclusion that the way to go would be a pair of headphones and a separate microphone. The one exception for a headset would be the Hyper X Cloud however. The Cloud has a decent detachable mic, so would still probably get a separate mic. Two advantages of the Cloud headset are it's extremely comfortable and it has a sleek, cool look (webcam purposes).

The headphones I'm choosing between are the Sennheiser HD419, HD439, or the Superlux HD668B. The HD439 apparently has more bass than the HD419? Wondering if that would not be good for competitive gaming where I need crisp, smooth sound without the loud explosions. Gears of War is pretty loud and I'd imagine that the 'enhanced bass' of the HD439 would not be a good idea. But, I will be using whatever pair of headphones I get, for music also and I love bass.. Also apparently they are open-backed, and not sure if i wanna do that either. I'm not sure about the comfortability of these Sennheiser headphones. What's your input/thoughts on all this? The HD668B has the leathery earpads and I really don't enjoy those, and it's a bit uncomfortable all around. But, it is has great sound. It is also semi-opened, not sure about that.

Ffor mics, I'm choosing between the AntLion ModMic 4 and the Audio-Technica ATR2100.

The ModMic is $50
The ATR2100 is $60

Now how would I go about setting up headphones and a mic with my Elgato HD60 to stream and record ALL my voice audio, party chat, and game audio, all while I can still talk to my friends on Xbox using the mic??

The best headphones are open-backed. I would still get a Sennheiser HD 598. Don't settle for anything cheaper. With headphones, either go with quality ones or don't bother at all. None of the HD 4xx series are good. Only HD 598 and up are good enough. It doesn't matter if you have to settle without a microphone for now. You can always get one later, and you can always text chat.
