Need help to build good gaming pc

Hi,

I want to build new gaming pc and not sure what to pick, there is so much to choose from.
This configuration is expensive but I want to be sure that I'm getting the best when I pay that amount of money and here I need your advice.
Need the PC to handle all games on best settings and also play FSX smoothly.

What do you think of this configuration and please let me know if you have a better advice?

CPU: i7 3930K
Motherboard: ASUS Rampage IV Extreme
GFX: ASUS GTX680 DC2T-2GD5
Memory: 8GB Corsair DD3-2000 CL9
SSD: OZC Agility 3 256GB
Cooling: Corsair H100 Extreme Liquid
Case: Corsair 800D
PSU: Cooler Master GX RS-750

i7 is nice CPU, but no many differences between i7 and i5.. so you can go with the i5. if you want,,, and if you want to overclock,, only choose a cpu with K on it....
motherboard is awesome
the graphics is also awesome...
...i recommend you to get a HDD instead of SSD, well, you are good to go! good luck

Very nice build, but I would go with the newly announced Corsair H110 instead of the H100. It's a 280mm rad instead of a 240mm rad, so it has 2x 140mm fans on it, which can run at lower RPM (lower noice), but maintain the same cooling (CPU temps). I would probably also buy a normal HDD for all of my other files (movies, music, etc.). Maybe you should also get a WD Black for your games

H110 and that WD Black looks good, I think I will choose that instead.

I'm just not sure if I should stick with the i7 or buy a cheaper i5 with OC?
If the performance difference is not big, are there any reason to buy the i7?

If you are only going to game,

i5-3570k would be the best.

It's not worht wasting alot of money on that 2011 socket.

I have this motherboard and CPU now: ASUS P8P67 DELUXE with i5-2500K.

Is it worth it and is there big performance difference between my CPU and i5-3570K?
I'm trying to figure out what I can keep of my current setup and what to upgrade.

If it is worth it, can I keep my current motherboard or should I also upgrade that?

If you're not upgrading to the i7 3930K (or any other i7), as first intented, then you don't need to upgrade your MOBO and CPU. 2500k and 3570k are almost identical
