I'd suggest an Antec PSU in the 480-600 range, I've never heard of Hiper so I can't vouch for them.

As for DVD burners anything from Plextor should be good (but expensive), I have a BenQ DW1655 and it's pretty good too (and a lot cheaper than my old Plextor).

You should consider picking up one of the Seagate 7200.10 series for your hard drives, they are almost as fast as a RAID array.

Other than that I can't really suggest anything different.

Actually I did think of something. Are you planning on upgrading your monitor? If you are then consider the Viewsonic VX922, I have one and it is great for gaming, no ghosting problems, bright, beautiful, etc.

$2000 bucks places you squarely into my planned build...

Screw the DS3, its good, but get the P5W-DH. Best Conroe mobo to date, and one of the best mobo's period.

Screw Antec PSU, get an OCZ GameXStream, probably best Bang for Buck PSU out there, 600W should be enough.

Get the NEC ND3550 DVD burner... one of the better ones, but I never really cared about DVD burners.

Might want to wait for the ATI X1950XTX. It's better than the X1900XTX and is comparable to the 7950GX2. Also, it offers a great XFire experience.

I assume you already have a case... and HDD's...

I would get better memory, Corsair XMS DDR2 PC6400C4 or so.

Good luck
