Need help to choose CPU

Hi everyone. I want to change my CPU i3 2120 to something better.
ASRock H61M-HVS LGA 1155
GTX 1050 2GB
8GB RAM
i7 3770 or Xeon e3 1270 (v2) which one better for games? Or maybe other CPU? please answer me.

Xeon is for workstations. (I wouldn't game on it.) I haven't checked if i7 3770 is compatible so i assume it is and i would say pick that one.

The 3570 is better then your current CPU but to get the most longevity from the system I would go 3770 or that Xeon.
