Need help to choose ram for my Laptop

Hello all. I'm considering to upgrade my laptops ram. I'm confused whether my laptop will support the ram which im considering or not as there is no return policy from where im buying my ram. My laptop is Gateway NV52L based on AMD A10-4600M. Here is complete info about my current ram installed in my system: Click Here LINK

In my opinion it wouldn't be worth it. For the value of the laptop and the minimal increase if any in performance i feel you would be better of using that money to save for a better laptop.

crusial memory advisior has unit 8g max memory. the unit has 4g ram max per slot.

if your buying ram for the laptop you have 4g in it now. the new stick would be 4g. you dont want to mix ram speeds if you can find the same 677 ram stick.,

thanks for your answer. I will remove 4gb one currently installed in my laptop. The one im looking at is a 8GB one Corsair.

Gateway NV52L supports 8GB ram max (4GB Per Slot). And i also learned somewhere that adding 2x4GB module instead of 1x8GB Ram is better because of the Dual Channel mode. Thank you all for your answers. Much Appreciated.
