Hi. Recently I've bought a Cooler Master v750 full modular psu. Actually, the cable which is provided with the psu for powering the mobo has one 24 pins connector at one end and the other end has two separate connectors of 10 pins and 18 pins. There are 2 ports on the psu to connect the 24pin motherboard cable. One port is labeled "10p M/B" and other is "18 M/B" (Please look at the photo). My question is do I need to connect both port to power my mobo? My mobo is Asrock z77 extreme 6. If I connect both 10 and 18 pins connector to the psu will it going to break my mobo?

Thanks in advance.

Solution
If the end of the cable have the 24PIN, connect both start pin's to the PSU. I never see something similar like 18M/B + 10P M/B.

Remember, you should also connect a 8Pin CPU to the motherboard.
