Need help to downgrade BIOS

Hi. I recently updated UEFI BIOS on my HP Pavillion 15-AB125AX. Now the GPU is causing some problems. I want to downgrade BIOS to any older version. I have downloaded older versions of BIOS from the product support page but the built in installer wont let me install any older version. If i try to manually install it from UEFI diagnostics i get error "Failed to open the signature file" even though .sig file is present(I dont get this error while installing the same version of bios that is already installed). The Win + B method also didnot help, i get message saying no bios recovery found please insert a usb with...(something like that). Please help me to downgrade the bios on my computer. Downgrading the bios is about the same as upgrading. You may get a few extra prompts making sure your really wanting to downgrade. Here is intels basic information for downgrading.

sounds like HP may have added more safeguards in their bios utilities. Looks like they provide 3 previous versions on their site. Have you tried the emergency recovery feature?

Plug the notebook into an AC adapter.
Insert the USB key with HP_Tools installed into an available USB port.
Press the Power button while holding the Windows key and the B key.
The emergency recovery feature replaces the BIOS with the version on the USB key.

if it has trouble with the older BIOS file and has no problems with the latest one then it sound like when HP updated this version it changed the way BIOS files are created or its their way of saying you cannot downgrade the BIOS

Yes i performed the emergency recovery. The screen remains black for a minute then this message is displayed, "BIOS recovery files not found. Please insert a USB drive with BIOS recovery files". I have been trying to extract files from BIOS setup to flash the bin file using dos but the setup file wont extract(used 7zip and universal extractor). If somehow i extract the files i should be able to flash it using bootable usb(I already have the bin file, just need the flash utility).
BTW BIOS of my device is from American Megatrends.

Still getting the same message that says failed to find bios recovery.
