Question Need help to install my new RTX 2070

Dears,
I just buy PNY RTX 2070 8 GB and try to install it on My old x58 Motherboard Asus Rampage2 extreme ( 6GB corsair ram) . but my MB issues one long and 3 shorts beeps means no graphic cards deducted .
I update the Bios to last formal one from ASUS and problems still as it is .
Are there any solutions for that problems ?

What's the model name of PSU, you are using?

Are you sure those beeps don't mean why are you installing such a nice card in a decade old system? I mean you have more GPU memory than system memory.

But on a more serious note, what make and model PSU?

Yes connected good and it need only 8 pin while my old 670 need 2 of 6 pins
My psu is antec 850 w and work fine

Probably compatibility problem with non UEFI bios of your motherboard and newer graphics cards.
Get some older card for your pc. Something like GTX 970.

but I see someone who could install his new 2080 on older MB than me from ASUS ( p6t) . how it can be if the new rtx doesn't support the legacy bios ?

Contact the card vendor and see what they say issue may be. If the power supply is known good quality, and the motherboard is at the latest BIOS, not much else you can do.
