How am I supposed to control 5 fans when my new motherboard (Asus Maximus IX Code) only has 3 system fan headers?

Solution
Most mobo's can supply 1A on a fan header. Most fans draw at max rpm about 0.35A. You could run 3 fans off of a header without a problem. To be be on the safe side 2 fans is no issue. 2 of these fans splitters will do the job: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812162026&cm_re=PWM_fan_splitter-_-12-162-026-_-Product. I'd suggest the 2 input fans at the front of the case, using 1 header. 2 exhaust fans at the top of the case on a second header and the rear exhaust fan on the third header.

Find the max load your motherboard fan header or fan controller can handle.
Find the max load your fans will draw. The loads of two fans on a splitter are simply added together and have to be less than the max load your header/controller can handle.

All the fans I have are 4-pin PWM. My headers are also 4-pin. The NZXT Aer fans Going to install have a max voltage of 12 V
Not sure about power draw though
Fortunately it’s the power draw is too much for my standard fan headers To handle my motherboard comes equipped with the header needed to power hyena bri to handle my motherboard comes equipped. with a header to power high amperage fans
