[SOLVED] Need help unlocking ASUS K50IN bios.

Hello. I want to unlock the hidden options in the bios on my Asus K50IN laptop.

I've searched on how to do it but I haven't found a way yet.

Does anybody know a way to unlock the bios. With an unlocked bios file or a way to access it by pressing certain keys, etc.

The BIOS on a laptop is a cut-down version by design, as it is on pre-built desktop PCs. This is to prevent the end-user from making changes to it which could screw things up, then expecting the manufacturer to fix it under warranty.

You can't "unlock it" --- there's nothing to unlock. The BIOS was designed to be a functionally limited one.

I could help but then you might end up with bricked bios and this would turn into troubleshooting thread. Is there "specific" option you NEED or just mess around? If its latter then i wouldnt risk it.
