Ok, so I have an ancient cpu which desperately needs an upgrade. I am currently on a Intel Core 2 Duo. My motherboard only is able to fit a 775LGA socket so I can't buy a current cpu that will fit so I need a new motherboard. I am fairly new to this so I really have no idea what I should get or what will fit on my comp. I am on a budget and could spend up to $300 for a combo deal but less would be great. As far is my mobo all i know its an alienware and the model is alienware according to cpu-z and system information. Also I mainly use my comp for gaming. I would also need to buy memory as its 2GB memory. Appreciate any recommendations I can get. Thanks in advance!

Mobo/Model: Alienware/Alienware
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 650 Ti
Memory: 2GB DDR2 DUAL

If you upgrade CPU and mobo, will prob need the DRAM, may well need drives also especially if your rig uses IDE drives, may also need a new PSU
