Intended usage: I will mostly use it for playing new MMOs and indie single player PC titles. Some recent ones include ArcheAge, Blade & Soul, Ori & Blind Forest, Concrete Jungle, and Anno 2205. I don't plan on using SLI/Crossfire or Overclocking.

Screen resolution, FPS, game settings: 1920x1080p, 60 FPS, medium.

Budget: Approximately $550 USD.

Country: United States.

Upgrading Parts: CPU, GPU, Motherboard, maybe Case

Current Build:

This build is from 2009 and I'm still able to play most games at 30-50 FPS on low-medium settings.

Upgraded Build:

I've heard that Intel is preferred over AMD for MMO gaming, so I'd like to go with an i5 CPU. If possible, I would like to reuse the CPU Cooler, RAM, PSU, and Case(still debating). Since my parts are at least six years old, is this recommended? Will there be a problem with using DDR3 with my CPU? Should I switch to a DDR4 Motherboard and buy DDR4 RAM?
