ok so here's the deal im about 1-2 months away from buying a new system, now i've already chosen the parts so there they are:

Case: Raynor Tower G3 (you probably never heard of this case so im gonna put a link to it. TowerG3
Mobo: Asus P8Z68 Pro/Gen3 Lga1155
CPU: i7-3770 (not K)
Cooler: NZXT Havik 140
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (4gb x 2)
HDD: Samsung 1TB
GPU: GTX 460 768MB (im gonna have this one until i have money to buy a new gpu)

the only thing is im having a psu problem. i have enough money to buy all those parts above (except for gpu; im not buying it, i already have it) but im thinking to move the old psu until i sell my old pc and buy a new psu. i will go with stock intel cooler until i sell my old pc. so the old PSU is OCZ CoreXStream True 500W 80+. and i want to know if it can run above components (including GPU) until i get a new PSU. so what i need the CXS 500Watt to run is the i7-3770 cpu, the palit gtx 460 768MB, Vengeance 8GB, 1TB samsung hdd all this on the P8Z68 Pro/Gen3 and i want to know if it will be able to do it. if there is any trouble in this i can go without the gpu for a time.

Thanks earlier.

Yes you should be able to run them with that PSU.

You don't need a i7 for gaming i5 is good. Also for the storage what typer is it (SSD, 2.5" HDD, 3.5" HDD), I think it should be a SSD or a 2.5" SSD.

What about the OS?

i was thinking of i5-3570k but the price between i7-3770 and the 3570k in my city was so minimal that i decided to go with 3770, plus it is very powerful and a good overclocker so i chose it. as for the storage its a normal 3.5" 1TB HDD nothing special. im gonna buy an SSD later after i buy the GPU and PSU. and ill be running windows 7 x64.

now, i also want to know if the NZXT Havik 140 will keep the cpu cool when i overclock it. and if the mobo is good enough.

Thanks for the fast answer.

P.S - i would also want to know if Toughpower 750W PSU is strong or shitty.

You can't overclock a i7 3770 ( notice it's missing the "k"). Also the toughpower 750W is a good one for the price.

well which one should be better i7-3770 or i5-3570k? i want it strictly for gaming. and i want it to run the watch dogs when it comes out and i heard it was very cpu hungry. so which will do?

You don't need an i7 even for running intense games. An i5 is a powerful CPU that games really well. I would either go for the i5 3570k or 4670k, go for which is cheaper.

theres only 4670 (not k) and its quiet expensive then the 3570k and yes i do want to overclock the cpu. so will 3570k do watch dogs if i oc it?

Yes just go for the 3570k it should handle any game you throw at it with a good GPU.

about gpu im thinking of gtx 660 Ti FTW Sig2 edition and i think it should do good with the cpu

It will go good with the CPU but maybe not soo good with your plan for Watch Dogs, For gaming Virtually GPU decides your FPS so if your budget is not enough to buy atleast a R9 270X or GTX 760 (Can play at Medium Settings) or R9 280X or GTX 770 (Can play at High settings) I would downgrade the CPU to a cheaper FX-6300 (little to no compromise in terms of Games) and the Motherboard to an Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 (or similar).

another question : is "Mushkin Enhanced 800W modular active PFC" really 800Watt or is this another piece of shit psu?

Just go with the cheapest PSU which is over or 750W and is Gold+ certified. Use this guide and try to get a Tier One or Tier Two PSU from the list:

ok so i found corsair enthusiast tx 750 +80 Bronze really cheap but its not modular so is it worth buying or not?

its V2, i checked so if its very good then ill get it. P.S with all the componenets i want to run NZXT Havik 140 and i heard it needs power. so i want to be sure that this will do with all the parts and the cooler

How much did you find it for, and are you in the US? Also unless you're getting the GPU used, you can get a better newer generation GPU for the same price as the 660ti new such as the 760.

ok heres the updated list

Case: Raynor Tower G3 (you probably never heard of this case so im gonna put a link to it. TowerG3
Mobo: Asus P8Z68 Pro/Gen3 Lga1155
CPU: i7-3770K
Cooler: NZXT Havik 140
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (4gb x 2)
HDD: Samsung 1TB
GPU: GTX 760 Zotac OC Edition 2GB
PSU: Corsair TX 750 V2

these are the parts that im gonna buy. (i already bought the motherboard)
quick question can my CXS 500Watt do 3770k, Havik 140 and GTX 760? with the hard drive and ram?

No, it cannot.

You should really buy a better power supply as you will be overclocking the the processor but you may get away with a good quality 600-650W power supply thought.

Will you be buying a new graphic card in the near future or will continue to use the GTX 760?

im going to have the gtx 760 for a while because in this damn country the cards are very expensive and gtx 760 zotac oc edition is expensive but its still good for me after i sell my old pc. now i have decided to buy the corsair tx 750Watt V2 psu ill buy it in the next few days, or the processor im still deciding which one to buy first because both are quite hard to find.
