Need help upgrading sons prebuild

Hey, I want to upgrade my sons PC for gaming. I just don't have the time to relearn all this stuff so I really need some help. I really want a new GPU, I know I will most likely need a new power supply and i'm thinking of maybe a new case if I can't keep this one. This is really a shot in the dark because I don't know if this can even be upgraded at all.

How much do you plan to spend? Also, make note that his current graphics card is built into the processor, so both can actually be used when the new one is bought, but settings may need changed to make the new one default. A 550 watt PSU may be safe too if he ever upgrades to more powerful components in the future again.

GPU: EVGA 770 ACX or 780 ACX

Good Choices. 780 will play anything.

I can't really say too much about the case, but it LOOKS like it will be fine.

You are correct that you will need a new power supply though.

However, luckily it looks like the motherboard is fine, and CPU is excellent (exactly the CPU that would be commonly recommended for mid-high end gaming).

How much were you looking to spend on an upgrade?

Probably option 2 or 3 would do well if he is looking to play games on high to ultra settings, assuming that he is not going to be using a 4K resolution monitor or a 120-144Hz monitor.
