What all besides the psu and graphics card do I need to upgrade. Also, what's a good graphics card and psu for current build??

Without a bios update, you most likely will not be able to upgrade the CPU, in that system. What kind of budget do you have, because you basically will need to rebuild that system? Case, HDD, and optical drive could be reused. If you go with a 4th gen Intel setup, you could reuse your memory as well. You would possibly need a new windows license, as well.
The 970 chipset supports a wide range of processors. I would recommend the FX-8320e due to its lower TDP over other processors in the FX linup. To use the FX-8320e in this system, it may require you to update the bios. Another option for you would be the FX-6300, another 95w CPU. As for the RAM I would just keep the single 8GB dimm, as most applications will never fully use it anyways.
