Need help upgrading

I built my pc using a website a few years ago and its finally starting to fall behind everyone else. I'm trying to run Read dead redemption 2 when it comes out and i don't think it'll survive it right now (Ark: survival evolved crashes intermittently and I can't get ARMA 3 to run above 20fps.). What is my fastest/cheapest path i can go to getting this hunk of junk back to fighting shape? Im not trying to get 4k or anything, just something that can run rd2 or equivalent at medium settings.

Current specs: OS Win 7 ultimate 64bit CPU Amd fx 6300 Vishera 32nm RAM 16gb ddr3 ram 666mhz Motherboard Msi 970 gaming (MS 7693) (cpu 1) GRAPHICS Hp w1907 (1440x900@60hz) 2048mb ATI amd Radeon r9 200 series (msi)

R9 200 series covers a lot of ground. Which one is it?

In general, your CPU gets you most of the game performance you can expect from an FX CPU. So really, a videocard upgrade is your one potentially helpful option. One problem is that certain games are known to be especially demanding, and Ark is one of them. So, for that specific game, a videocard upgrade might not help all that much.

You might want to get the 2200G apu with onboard graphics card is enough.
