Need help upgrading

Hi all, I am looking for some advice as I am looking to upgrade my system. I currently have a single hd 4870 1gb. My question is if I get another 4870 and crossfire it will I have enough juice to power bf3 on high at 1920x1080. My current reservation about going the crossfire route is that my mobo only has 1 x16 slot so I would have to upgrade that or use my x1 slots. my budget for upgrading is ~$150. Thanks in advance!

What is your power supply. Second you should not under any circumstance run a graphics card on a x1 slot.

Alright, I'm liking the 6870. I have been very pleased with xfx in the past, would you still recommend them or is another company better?

I usually buy XFX, HIS or EVGA with the "AR" in the description so I get the lifetime warranty.......... but most cards will last a while ...... but I will never buy another Palit, a Saphire and MSI if I could help it. Had more than 1 bad card/product with all of them.
