Need Help w/ Asus Prime X470 Pro mobo & Ryzen 7 2700x

I have a asus prime X470 pro and ryzen 7 2700x . having OC issue ...im using AI suite 3 for OC, which im sure I should be using bios, which normally I would..im stable w/ cinebench 15. but w/ realbench , it almost crashes instantly. My OC is 42.25 at 1.4v..im new to this board honestly.. I have my trident Z RGB ram 3200 at OC at 3000..any suggestions on wat is good for this board or just really any advice. thank you

Same setup here except for RAM. Get rid of Ai Suite, it's just trouble, even when not running it. Use BIOS to OC. Every CPU is slightly different but for 4.25GHz and 1.4v you need to also change LLC, I'm using LLC5 and voltage barely ever hits over 1.4v. Also set power to 120% at least, it's just upper limit and 99% of time will not use that much but helps with stability.
For RAM, I just set DOCP to 3000 and memory at 3200 and it should work with low Cl.

yea I did get rid of AI suite 3 , and im OC at 4.2 @ 1.375v stable w/ cinebench 15 and prime95 , but I really haven't done much else honestly , my ram is at 3200 though..i just have docp at yea 3200, the bios im new to and the board and cpu and u said power 120% ?, ill have to find that lol

my temps do fluctuate though , pretty rapidly, y idk, lowest ive seen is 22C and highest is 66C <- underload ( testing ) 28C - 43C pretty quickly, even on a mouse click sometimes..

not sure if I wanna switch to bios 4008, cuz I ordered this board and cpu from newegg, this is 2nd board that was sent to me , 1st board of this x470 was sent DOA, which sucked , so they sent me new one , not refurbed, this time .im still under warranty, with this board..ill have to wait until warranty is void

ok I ran what ur setup is in bios, ( everything but power at 120%) ram at 3200 though ..ran cinebench, ( passed ) prime95 ( passed ) only concern I have is my temps on prime95 went up 79C.. it scared me a lil , I only ran prime95 for 15 minutes, but it was stable..lol I was almost sweating on those temps lol...so, 4.25@ 1.4v the volts never changed, a constant 1.4v...

im just using HW monitor and coretemp ( the only 2 I use , plus I think coretemp isn't always right with this CPU, temps on it are right but ,nothing else it seems ) .must be a bug

so do u think that was bad temp 79C on prime95 ? , I have a MSI B350 PC MATE mobo and Ryzen 5 1600 as well and ive never seen temps that high , so it was a lil scary to me

ive never used OCCT, im so used to prime and cinebench lol , but ill try it
