Ahh.. So it will be max 1920x1080p 60 hz right... Damn. I'll buy the monitor anyways.. Hopefully it will be ok for 144 hz when i get a GPU.
Hey, sorry for late response. The monitor works at 120 max now, brand is viewsonic/XG2401What is the make/model of the monitor?
For fast action, plan on using displayport if you can.

Looks like a RX550 sells for $100-$120 used on ebay.
You might find a stronger EVGA GTX750ti for <$100
Not all GTX750ti will have displayport so check that.I will wait for at least 5 months.

Right now i just want a GPU that has DisplayPort+Can play small games.
