Finally upgrading my PC after 10 years, wanted to do it much sooner but prices were absurd the last 3-4 years.

I would do this myself (used to help people with budget builds on here a LONG time ago) but tech has changed a lot & I heard of some recent new hardware so I figured I would consult this awesome community again.

Approximate Purchase Date: 1-2 months, might wait until Black Friday/Christmas for some deals

Budget Range: $2500 max.

System Usage from Most to Least Important:
Streaming - Video Editing - Gaming (Eve Online, Baldurs Gate 3, Total War: Warhammer 3 etc - so a decent mix of CPU & GPU demanding games)

Are you buying a monitor: No, I have all the peripherals I need

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: None but I do live West Coast US

Parts Preferences:
Always used intel but not married to it

Overclocking: Possibly but would like to have the option

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1980x1080

Additional Comments:
I prefer a white case and pink/purple RGB aesthetic overall. Would also like a cpu cooler that displays the temp like a NZXT Kraken Z63 (white) but cheaper...unless it can fit in the build normally without sacrificing performance.
Mostly getting a feel on what to buy for now. Would also like to know if there is any new hardware (in this price range) coming out that is worth waiting for before the end of the year.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the comment and the build you mentioned. Forgive me if I am wrong but I noticed the build was for a micro-mobo/tower, to my understanding they tend to be 'weaker' due to limited capacity for other parts?

I would also like to leverage the $800 difference between your price and the $2500 max if you think its worth it.

Intel Raptor Lake is due out next week. I'd wait to see the reviews before making any build decisions.
