Well... I've bought an EVGA 2Gb GTX680 recently, and I went to install it in my rig of -
AMD fx4170 4.2Ghz
Gigabyte GA 78LMT-USB3
Artic MPS550 550W
former GPU (problem) MSI 7770 1Gb
And so forth; I deleted the old GPU's driver as it told me to in the EVGA manual, I disconnected everything, got ready for the swap & put in the 680, only to realise I didn't yet have the 8 pin connector, so I unplugged it after an attempt to find enough connectors to make one, and re-installed my 7770 & my pc refused to load up the login screen, it just says "Input not support" can you guys help?

Check your cable between the video card and your monitor. Power-cycling the monitor may help.
The current (12.x) AMD drivers have an OpenCL bug as well; I'm using the Beta (13.3?) drivers without difficulty.
I don't think your current PSU can handle a GTX680.
If you have this: http://www.kitguru.net/desktop-pc/gaming-rig/luke-hill/cyberpower-gaming-battalion-502-windows-8-pc-review-fx-4170-radeon-7770/
...then no, it can't. Based on its 20GBP price on Amazon, and the fact that it has no PCIe power cables, I'm guessing the PSU is a piece of cheap Chinese junk with a liar-label slapped on it.

My apologies, I've made a mistake - I didnt manage to re-install my 7770, I re-fitted it* however I didnt install the drivers, I didnt get the chance as it comes up saying "input not support" before I get the chance to log-in.

Apart from an updated case, yeah that's my PC, I'm getting a modular PSU anyway, that's my next purchase.
