need help with 8-23-23 beeping pc

hello guys, i bought new pc few months ago and i gave my old one to friend.
the pc was in parts and he put them back in old case and now it keeps beeiping on first start up, it spams beeps and on second start it makes no noise and it keeps doing so all the time
the only thing its missing is optical cd drive.

btw mobo leds show 1 2 3 green and 4 is red but pc starts normally it only beeps alot


now he told me that pc wont even go to desktop like yesterday it just beeps restarts repeats

he tells me that the first time he starts up pc it does nothing just starts normally on second start up after he restarts pc or turns it on again it does 8 beeps stops for second or two then 23 and stops again and 23 beeps and then it starts normally.

so it just does 8 23 23 beeps and then everything is "fine" and silent

Remove the RAMs, and put them back again.

he did and even took mobo battary out still same and now he says pc is not starting up today just beeps and shuts down and restarts again

that old case you use it is a dell one and old parts where in did you try to use another case some system prorpietaty things in them .

it was not dell and they were all the same parts from the time i used it but now its working, thanks for ur time guys he unpluged psu from mobo and pluged it back and reseted bios and now its working.


he just says that now pc became slower but i guess he just needs to switch few setings in bios
