Hey guys,

I'm planning on building a PC to run World of Warcraft:Legion smoothly on Ultra settings, but I also want it to last quite a while so it will be able to handle at least a couple more expansions afterwords (as in, last a good 5-6 years 'ideally').

I've been looking around for builds but most I've found are roughly within the current system requirements, and don't seem like they'd last beyond the next expansion.

Here are the 'recommended' system requirements:
OS: Windows 10 64-bit with latest service pack
CPU: Intel Core i5-3330, AMD FX-6300, or better
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti or AMD Radeon R7 260X or better
RAM: 4 GB

So, excluding the cost of the Monitor/Keyboard/OS, which all I would have access to, I've got a budget of 1500 to 2000CAD (2000 max) (roughly 1100-1600 USD) that I'm working with (this would include a Case, PSU etc). A Motherboard that's somewhat future-proof would be a good investment too I'd think as I'd want to keep up with any future changes to system requirements as well as I can!

I'd be super grateful if you guys could help me out with a build that would fit these criteria!

your price point is a bit overkill for what your looking for but here is a really good PC none the less. but if you are looking to save some money you could get something to match the specs you need or slightly better for a whole lot less. i would suggest a budget closer this: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Nwolf1010/saved/QLj8TW it is still overkill but less and there is room for upgrade.

Thank you so much!

It's definitely overkill, but I don't often build PCs and I'd love for this to be my last for a few years 😉
