Solution
For that price your looking at a GTX 1050ti at the max and still need the operating system. The 1050ti will play all the games just at lowered settings.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel - Core i3-8100 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor ($146.99 @ Amazon Canada)
Motherboard: Gigabyte - B360M DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($90.99 @ PC-Canada)
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($116.99 @ Newegg Canada)
Storage: Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($48.49 @ Newegg Canada)
Video Card: Asus - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Phoenix Video Card ($251.99 @ PC-Canada)...
That's not going to be enough money if that's what you are expecting FPS/settings wise.

Going to need a GTX 1070 or GTX 1080 GPU.

Here is GTA 5 at MAX Settings with a GTX 1080 in my system in sig, PUBG would be even harder.

More like an i5 8600 and GTX 1060 6GB then play with the settings.

Those AAA games use both CPU and GPU.

Here is basically what you would looking at with a GTX 1070 as example.

I would look at places like Newegg or Microcenter, Since you live in Canada ( im not sure how close you live to the US border to check out a microcenter store) but you could check out the web store and they have some desktops that are i5's and i7's with 8-16gb of memory for decent prices.

I know here in the states the video cards are starting to drop in price since now you can get a nvidia 1080 8gb card for about $580.00 usd. and a 1060 6gb cards are as low as 300 usd. The AMD RX 570 8gb and RX 580 8gb cards are around 350 usd.

Another option is to build an older i7 computer buying used parts off eBay, like an i7 4790k (yeah its DDR3 memory but these systems can still run anything thrown at it) Honestly I would say if you wanted new parts to look into AMD Ryzen, They have great processors that are cheaper then Intel and are just about as good. Here is something Newegg has which is a great deal in my opinion: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113514 (if i didn't just get a new computer i would get this)
