Need help with a new monitor.

Hi guys, im new here although been a follower for a while now. I've just bought a new pc, Asus m2n32 SLi deluxe, amd x2 3800, 2 gig ram, 7600GT, but my monitor is a really old phillips CRT 17"....

I'm not really up to date at all with monitors, especially LCDs so i need some help.

So far i've seen these two

I will be using the pc to play films, tv shows and play games.

i'd definitely say no to the belinea.. call me old fashioned but if you dont have an option for a dvi input then your really not getting the full usage of a lcd monitor... but thats my paranoia =)

the samsung looks good in a comparison between the two...although it is a big drop in size... if you were looking for a 22" specifically the chimei 221d nbc line gets really good reviews... apparently there is slight bleeding on the bottom... but not unless you are looking for it.

the price for the chimei 22" is 299 US dollars... and i think the conversion rate is like 1pound=1.95 US... so yea...
