First of all I would like to say hi to everyone and I have several questions regarding on the PC I plan to put together.

The parts I plan to use can be found below:

CPU: AMD FX X8 9590 4.7 ghz 16 MB Cache

Motherboard: Asus Crosshair V Formula Z 990FX

SSD: Samsung 540 GB 840 EVO SATA 3.0

PSU: SEASONIC X-Seriesi (SEA-X-1250) 1250Watt APFC 80+ Plus GOLD

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16 GB 2400 Mhz DDR3

Graphics Card: Asus GTX980 ROG STRIX OC GDDR5 4GB 256Bit DX12

Computer Case: Corsair Graphite Serisi 780T Beyaz Full Tower

My purpose it to just play games and fps drops aren't that important for me.

Now I don't want to overclock the CPU, so do I still need to buy a liquid cooling solution (Corsair H110)? Or would a Zalman CNPS12X be enough for it?

Also, can I just overclock the RAM to 2400 mhz and not the CPU? When I overclock just the RAM would I have stability issues?

Another question I have is about the compatibility of the motherboard and the CPU because normally it says 140 w and CPU requires 220w. I just wanted to know about the topic from people who use it if they have experienced any problems.

My last question is how is the temperature of 9590 in a normal state (without overclocking) while playing games?

Like I have said I just want to play games and FPS drops aren't that important for me.

The reason I plan to use GTX980 is because in the future (1 year later) If I plan to change my system at least I won't have to worry about buying a new graphics card.

I would appreciate your support on the topic.

Thank you.

Budget? and dont get the 9xxx series they're just hot and not really that much better then the 8xxx series chips.

Well actually I have no budget set. I'll pay whatever the system costs.

Intel is just better then AMD at your budget, seriously after the 8xxx series AMD has absolutly nothing to compete with intel they are just so much better designed cores.

The reason I'm using AMD is I just simply don't like Intel. I know it may sound stupid but I just don't like them.

Secondly, I went with a 1250 power supply because my cousin gave it to me for free :)

Always have a budget, if you have none then this is what I would go for but obviouly thats going to be out it's hard to get the best for your money without a budget. But here is something that you can actually afford and this will be an excellent pc for years to come.

I hear you on Intel but the thing is I live in Istanbul and the prices here are times 3 from what you have sent :)
So if I were to build an Intel PC here I would have to pay around 6-7 thousand dollars.

But AMD is a different story :)

Ok drop to i5 gete less storage space less ram and you should be golden.

I really appreciate your help and sparing your time to write. But I really don't plan on buying intel. If you have any knowledge of the questions I raised, I would really like your help on it.

Once again thank your for your time and help.

Get an fx 8320 or maybe the e version I really dont recommend the 9xxx series chips.
