Hey all,
My school is selling a HP 6200 Pro Small Form factor PC and I would like to purchase it and upgrade it for light gaming (mainly League of Legends).
The specs are:
HP 6200 Pro Small Form Factor (£75)
Windows 7 Professional 32-bit (x86)
Intel Core i5-2400 CPU @ 3.1 GHz
320 GB Hard Drive
4.00 GB RAM
CD DVD RW Writer + Lightscribe
Multi Card Reader
USB PS/2 and speaker ports
Intel Q65 Express Chipset
Intel On Board Graphics
(The PSU is not specified, but after some research I found it is either a 240w or 320w)
So, as it is a PCIex16 low profile slot, this leaves me with 2 options:
- If the PSU is 320w, buy a low-profile gpu such as the 750 ti
- If the PSU is 240w, either don't buy it or buy it and replace the psu and then put in the 750 ti
I will also be upgrading the RAM at some point, this is easy to do.
Any suggestions? Are there any other options for me? Can the 750 ti even run at 320w or even 240w? Can I use another gpu which can run at 240w?
