Need help with a SLI 980 TI build configuration please

I want to purchase two 980 Ti's for gaming my system build so far is this

intel i7 4770
12 gb ram
evga gtx 970
1 tb hdd
gigabyte gaming motherboard 3 1150 socket two way sli three way x-fire

would my cpu and ram be a bottleneck?

Whichever model you choose, you should be perfectly fine with your above specs. With dual cards, that board's PCI slots will operate at dual x8 speeds, not dual x16 speeds, which is pretty typical for most Z97 boards aside from the very highest priced models. It shouldn't affect you much if at all though as seen here:

Your CPU is more than capable enough. For noise levels, I actually like the ASUS Strix cards. The Gigabyte cards perform slightly better out of the box than any of the other models, but that can be easily overcome by simply overclocking them yourself using any third party tweak utility. The Strix cards are pretty quiet though.

I would like the Gigabyte cards for the OC ability, but on the other hand.... those cool and quiet EVGA hybrids would be nice. The Gigabyte cards may sound like i have a tornado in my house when paired together. Which one should I choose I'm at a loss here. There is space in my case for the hybrids coolers should I go with those?
