I'm building my own machine for the first time and I have a pretty large budget. I'm just curious what your opinions are on the GPU and CPU I have in mind. I'd also like to know any suggestions for a motherboard that can handle these components, how strong of a power source I'll need, and the best cooling system required. Also if anyone has a better source to purchase these components please enlighten me, thanks.

CPU, overpriced and unnecessary for gaming. GPU, well basically not out yet, so all I can say is that it will likely be the fastest available GPU for gaming.

Having a powerful GPU is great and all, but what were you thinking for a monitor? Not much sense in having an RTX 2080Ti without something like a 3440x1440 ultrawide or 4K display.

As for the CPU, we should have Intel's new i9-9900k as a more economical, and higher performing for games, option in a short while.

If this is your first time then just getting a massive CPU air cooler or All-in-One liquid cooler would be the safest route. Best would be a custom liquid cooling setup (which can add around $600 if starting from scratch)

Motherboard is very dependent on the form factor...

Motherboard is very dependent on the form factor you want. This computer can be as large or as small as you want it. Mini-ITX is an option all they up to Full ATX or EATX motherboards and chassis.
