I have an Asus Cg5275 with an core i5 650 4gb ddr3 ram and gtx 1050 dedicates gpu. Now for some reason I’m trying to upgrade to an Lynnfield cpu an core i5 750 I’ve updated my bios to the latest 0502. But I need help on my motherboard for some reason whenever I search for P7H55-M I can’t find the same Mobo that looks like mines because when I look at the Asus support the MB look way different from mines but on the sticker of my Mobo says this P7H55-M/CG5275/DP_MB I’m just confused guys but I’m pretty sure it supports Clarkdale a and Lynnfield cpus tho but I don’t what kind on bios version I need!!

Solution
That motherboard will support an i5-750 with BIOS 0214 or newer.

There are higher BIOS numbers than 0502. Usually the higher the number the newer the BIOS.

That being said....0502 is higher than 0214 so you should be fine with that.

As far as why it looks different....I have no idea.

I took this off from google image, but im pretty sure this is exactly how my motherboard looks like, but on asus support it does no show even if its p7h55-m, i also tried to update the bios from 0502 to 1302 but when i went to Ez flash 2 on Bios settings the Rom file isn't compatible with my bios what could be wrong? Some say online that "its an pre built mobo from asus but what does that mean?

Well....this is just a guess...but it could be the same motherboard functionally...but a different form factor (meaning it looks different but works the same).

Now...that ROM error. I got that error once when I mistakenly tried to DOWNGRADE a BIOS on an ASUS MB. Going from 0502 to 1302 isn't downgrading....so I don't know what that's about....but I wanted to mention how I got that error.

If it were me....at this point....I would swap processors and power up.

My mistake will any core i7 8XX work with my Motherboard?

Sorry for the late reply but yeah am planning on just buying the core i7 870 cause on amazon they dont seem to have people selling the core i7 880 and its also used but people seemed happy about it,so is there anyway i can update my bios to 1302 or i cant?

Very thankful for the help

I don't think you have to update your BIOS. You said you have 0502.

That should work for the 870 or the 880.

They have 880s on EBay used for around $150 just so you know.

Although I see they have the 870 for around $50.

They are ALMOST as fast...so I might go with the 870.

Thank you very much for the help, and yes i checked on ebay, but i don't wanna save extra bucks so i will go with the 870 for now. Also i have a question you know when you look onto asus support for my motherboard on which cpu it can support, for some reason it says that for the intel core i5 650 you need a BIOS version of 903 its weird because im using that CPU right now and my bios is 0502 is there something wrong?
