[SOLVED] Need help with Blurring apps

Hello!, I am having some issues with blurry apps on Windows 10. this has been happening to a lot of applications over the last few weeks and i can't seem to find any information about this.

Right-click on the desktop and open Display settings from the contextual menu. Click on Advanced scaling settings. Under the “Fix scaling for apps” section, toggle on “Let Windows try to fix apps so they're not blurry“. Restart your PC and look for improvements.

Have you tried closing the app then reopening it? To see if it clears up?

Did you just update a driver? Have you tried setting the monitor back to factory settings? Are you using multiple monitors?

It's been doing it for a while now. Randomly discord or OBS or multiple open apps will blur out like that until i hover or click on them.

no recent driver updates as i'm on a new machine with everything mostly up-to-date.

You dont have anything like a cell phone, speakers or anything electrical near the monitor?

nosir. it's on it's own stand on the desk.

i even went so far as to change all cables and such but still blurring

Go to desktop again, check screen resolution make sure it is at maximum resolution. Then go to search type in clear type. Then adjust clear type see if it helps. Make sure turn on clear type box is selected.

Monitor is at native res.

Cleartype is on and calibrated.

What gpu are you using?

i was using a 1060 and it was doing it then. and now i'm on a 1080ti oc and it still does it

Go to control panel 3d settings. Turn off all antialising, and fxaa if enabled. Restart pc and see if that helps.

You bet! Yeah the antialiasing when set to global screws up a lot of apps. You can also try to disable hardware acceleration in the app if you don't want to keep turning back on and off antialiasing to game.
