I want to put together this computer here:
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K Quad-Core Processor 3.4 GHz 4 Core LGA 1155
Motherboard: MSI Z77A-GD65 Z77 DDR3 1600 LGA 1155
Memory: Corsair Vengeance Blue 8 GB (2X4 GB) PC3-12800 1600mHz DDR3 240-Pin SDRAM Dual Channel Memory Kit
PSU: Corsair Builder Series CX 600 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS
Aftermarket CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heat Pipes
OS: Windows 7
SSD: Crucial m4 128GB 2.5-Inch (9.5mm) SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Drive
DVD-RW: Asus 24xDVD-RW Serial ATA Internal OEM Drive

I don't know what kind of case to get though, nor do I know what kind of GPU i should get. I don't know if I should stick to name brands or if that doesn't matter or what? Your help is most appreciated here.

Budget:
Case: less than $80
GPU: less than $190

I want to be able to play games like battlefield 4, arma 2 and 3 and record at the same time. I just want to be future proof for the next year or so also.

Solution
CASE: Corsair 500R White is a GREAT case for OC. Also with a nice price tag.
119.99$ - 25$ Rebate - 20$ Promo Code: EMCXMVL36 = TOTAL: 74.99$

About the GPU, this is a bit low for such a system..
Depending on your use - either get rid of the OC system or have 250$~ for the GTX 760 (+ Batman Arkham City)

Case: HAF X 912
GPU: Maybe a GTX 650 Ti or a GTX 660 SC which is 195$ on Amazon. AMD 7870 or 7850

I think I will get rid of the CPU Cooler then since I don't think there will be a need to overclock and I will also get rid of the DVD-RW since i will put Windows on a flashdrive.

Oh no mate, removing the OC requires changing the CPU, CPU Cooler and the Motherboard.
DO NOT remove the DVD as you will not be able to insert any CD / burn discs at all.

Would you like me to build you a suitable spec?
Please open a new thread and specify your needs and your budget and I will be glad to help you out! :)

oh yeah dont remove the option to OC

As he mentioned in his new thread that he also wants to record the games he play - then no. He shouldn't.

if he wants to record games, he needs better than a 760

Known, but a 700-800$ budget is tight. I will try to work something out.

okay, he might need to downgrade MB and get rid of SSD sadly
