Need help with building a pc(im new to this subject)

I am new to pc building and would like some guidance for you veterans out there😀


This is my build so far:

CPU = Intel Core i5-7600k

CPU cooler = Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Motherboard = ASUS Maximus IX Hero

RAM = Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3000MHz 16GB

Harddisk = WD Blue 1TB

Graphics card = ASUS DUAL GTX1060 O3G

The rest of the parts i have not chosen yet.
i would like to know if i've done something wrong or my parts doesn't fit

Assuming the socket is LGA 1151. However that 3GB GTX 1060 is going to be limiting. Have you purchased these parts yet? If not I'd recommend a Ryzen 1600/ RX 580 COMBO! Otherwise no issues.

I would suggest bumping up to 6GB 1060s instead of 3GB. The 3GB 1060 is basically a crippled version of the card. If you're looking at getting them for cheaper, wait a few months to let the prices sink down a bit.
