Hello,

My mom has asked me if I could build her a PC and I gladly agreed to it because I built my own just about a year ago, however her price range is completely different £300-350 for the rig and I have no knowledge about lower tier CPUs and other parts so I'm looking for some help.
She basically needs an i5 or i7 mid-ATX or smaller along with some other requirements like 'it has to work well' or 'i want to skype with it'' :) well you get the picture - its basically for general use. If possible I would like some sort of video card too, because I have suspicions my little brother will want to use it too.
Thank you!

Not with new parts. With used, probably. But your requirements don't show any reason for an i5 or i7.

The G4560 is a dual core with hyperthreading CPU, with a high clock speed. It is a perfect choice for the activities you have described. The B250 motherboard is the current generation and could be upgraded to an i5 or i7 in the future.
