Need help with cable extensions.

So I have a semi modular psu and it came with a 6+2 cable that splits into two cords. My graphics card takes two 8 pins which to my knowledge is the same as a 6+2 pin? Would I need to buy two 8 pin cable extensions for both wires? Thanks for the help.

some PSU have the allows to combine 6+2 and use it as a 8 take a look on the ones you have if not then get the connectors some times they also come with the GPU check the box
