Hi! I'm looking for a 144hz monitor but I am having a hard time picking one. My price range is about 200 and I'm not really too sure on what to pick. I been reading the reviews for some monitors and some say that there are dead pixels and some have too low of a brightness. I am looking for a 144hz monitor for mostly fps and I want one smaller than 27 so around 24-25". One monitor that caught my attention was the Lenovo G25-10 but I am not sure if that would be a good purchase. I do not have much knowledge on monitors so any info or suggestions would be helpful to me thanks!

First of all it is a VA panel which is better than TN. Secondly out of around 5000 reviews I can see 95% positive feedback. If there is a bad apple in the basket, doesn't mean the entire basket is rotten. There is no product in the world that is 100% defect free. In a bunch of 100, 1 can turn out bad.
I have seen that screen first hand at my friends place and its pretty good.

The second option listed above is a IPS panel, which is even better in terms of picture quality.

I think you can go for either AOC24G which is a 24 inch curved 144Hz monitor. It is pretty good as I am using it for last 3-4 weeks. I mostly play league of legends and Call of duty on it. it is quit impressive.

You can check the review here. You can also check best gaming monitors available right now. I personally like the Acer XFA240 as it is good value for money. Moreover, the BenQ Zowie gaming monitor is my all time favorite. It does not come with G-sync but it offers a Smooth gameplay.

i have the AOC 24g1 as well. had it about a month now. i love it and for the $145 it's a steal.

every company has a warranty and return policy since it is impossible to be 100% prefect all the time. make enough of something and eventually there will be a problem. does not matter what the product, there will be problems with a few of them. so you can ignore a few issues from customer reviews. the only time i worry is when i see just about every review as negative, on multiple sites, and from accepted tech reviewers as well.

then you know there is an actual massive problem with a product. until then. you can easily ignore a couple bad ones here and there. i also know that most problems are user error as well. always take user reviews with a grain of salt. i assure you, if there is a problem with a product it will not be a secret. tech sites will review and explain it right away!!

I think, BenQ Zowie may be a good choice for me as it has good reviews.
