Need help with choosing a 95W CPU

im building an Rig the CPU's ive decided on are - My current mobo only supports 95W cpu's

phenom 720 X3 (is it worth the 100 bucks to try and unlock the 4th core and overclock?) - 109.99 Free ship

I know the board boots and i know the board is able to unlock the 4th core on the 720.

im going to be running x1 5850 or x1 5870.

I've been eying the 925 myself lately, and its probably what I would go for. The 720 is a bit of a gamble, if the 4th core unlocks its a great deal. If it doesn't it still isn't a bad CPU by any means, but not as good a deal. If the price difference were more I'd go with the 720, but at $30 I'd probably spring for the 925. Just IMO of course

go for the 925. its what i have and it performs wonderfully. the gamble isn't woth it

what video are you running on your 925 and what kind of overclocks have you gotten out of it

925 works great, at idle AOD shows core temps between 20 and 22 C. getting 50fps in DOW 2 ultra settings physx on all eye-candy on low=29 high=111. dirt 2 runs excellently.
