Need help with choosing a new headset (PC)!

I'm currently looking for a replacement headset, as my turtle beach x12's are starting to die off on me. (Well, not die off.. Just the cords have had to be super-glued several times + electrical tape to hold them together, as all plastic cords ware down over time) And with a $120 budget I hope I can find a good one.

I've tried looking at clip-on mic's + a good set of headphones, but that's just too many wires on my desk.
I'm not big on music, as I only listen to it when I'm gaming, or as I type things such as this. So decent bass & volume levels are a must. I also prefer Circumaural/Cans.

Any suggestions? I've looked at;
- RAZER Carcharias
-Corsair Vengeance 1500
-steelseries Siberia v2 Circumaural Full-size Headset - Black - Bulk (The one that comes with an external sound card)
-Logitech G930
-steelseries 61001SS
- steelseries Siberia v2 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Full-size Headset - White

Just a few of the ones I've seen on newegg, haven't looked at many other sites yet.

Any help is appreciated. Or comments if you own any of the listed. I've seen good & bad reviews on each one about their pros and cons, but I'd like input from here. 😀

I have the razer carcharius headset. I've had it for 3.1/2 years. Sound quality is great (main reason I chose them), the mic is crap, and the cans do let sound in if it's loud enough. The cord is braided and has built-in level control and mic on/off switch.

I cannot say anything about the rest.

How bad is the sound-bleed? I've seen the complaint pop up a lot for the headset.
What makes the mic so bad?

Check out Creative's Soundblaster line of headsets. Tek Republic is a relatively new company with 2 decent headsets. They have generally favorable reviews.

I just got a Logitech G930 and its incredible! Its my first wireless headset and I was kinda worried about it.... but there's nothing to worry about! Sound quality is amazing, Mic is Crystal clear, the 40ft radius claims for the wireless seem to he correct as I can move freely throughout the house and don't lose connection and to top it off, the voice morphing feature is great fun while gaming with your mates! I cant comment on the rest of your list but I do highly recommend this one!

mikey - You should probably specify whether you want a USB or analog headset.
