Hi there,
I will be buying a i7-8700k and I understand that these CPU's only fit on motherboards which have a LGA1151 socket. However, do different 1151 motherboards provide different benefits?
Please see this link: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/intel-z370-pc/
When I change the motherboard from ASUS PRIME Z370-P to ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-H GAMING, the price of the overall PC increases by nearly £100?? What is the difference between these two motherboards (the expensive and cheaper)? Do they at all affect the PC's performance and is it worth getting? I will be gaming/streaming on this PC, and will be using a 1080ti with this build, if that at all helps.
But yeah, it would be nice to save £100 if I knew the upgrade in motherboard is not significant or wouldn't affect the PC's performance.
Thanks as always!
