Hello guys, the last month I've been looking for a laptop for my work and I can't really decide with so many options on the market.
I work as Social Media Manager so the things I use the most are Chrome (unlimited tabs..) and sometimes photoshop on basic level. Now to the questions:
1) Do I need an i3 or an i5 processor?
2) 5th or 6th gen?
3) Can I handle all my work with an integrated graphics card?
4) 1366 x 768 or 1920 x 1080 screen would be better, also TFT TN or IPS panel?
I'm only comfortable with 15.6 inch screens, budget around 500$.

Solution
Hello,

I will give you some advices:
1) higher CPU -> better performance
2) higher generation is better... but.. BUT... depends on CPU model
3) you can handle only chrome stuff (normal using). Photoshop is using alot of your GPU. You may need a bit more powerful graphic
4) both resolutions with IPS.

budget advice: Ideapad 510 (15")

Good choice, too bad I can't find this laptop in my country.

After much search I found that HP ProBook 450 G3 (15.6") is close to my needs. Configuration: i5 6200U, 1920x1080, 8GB.

Comes with Intel HD Graphics 520 and R7 M340 for 20 more $. I know that the difference in money is insignificant but it will draw some power for nearly the same performance, also I'm not really a fan of AMD products.

Actually the hardest thing is to find a IPS display on 1080p at this price range.
I'm stuck with TN display or I can get an IPS but with 768p.
Don't know which one I should chose..
