Hello all i have been trouble shooting a problem for a good 6 months now and cannot find it.

im about to just start over because i hate this.

I am getting Kernel-Power 41 Critical system fails.

It is giving me a BSOD or freezes the computer completely and i have to click the reset buttion.

I RMA'd my MOBO thinking that was it, so i have a fresh MOBO.

Friend let be borrow his RAM, CPU, GPU. Tested and still happened.

It happens the most when i am running the prime95 torture test.

New mobo, happens on both CPU, GPU and ram sticks.

I have tested the HDD's with no errors.

only think left is the PSU or MAYBE another bad MOBO????

can someone tell me if a bad PSU can cause this problem??

or what i can try next?? i have taken my system out of raid 0 and just have a main and slave HDD.

specs below.

Windows 7 x64 ultimate

MSI 790X-GD70
AMD 3.4ghz 965 black
EVGA 9800GTX
Dual 1TB WD Carver Black
4GB (only using 2gb ATM) munchkin
have extra fans and cooling for CPU

PSU is
Rosewill BRONZE series RBR1000-M 1000W Continuous@40°C, 80Plus Bronze Certified,Modular Cable Design,ATX12V v2.3/ EPS12V,SLI Ready,CrossFire Ready,Active PFC"Compatible with Core i7, i5" Power Supply

ok, i found 2 audio drivers.

one is High Definition Audio Bus Diver

the other is High Definition Audio Function Driver.

could they be messing with each other?
