Need Help With Electronics...

Hey Everyone,

Just a quick question: If Im buying something that needs 12v 5a can I use something that outputs 12v 7a to power it? or do I need it to be 12v 5a?

12V 7A will work. Device will only use 5A

Does that go the same with the voltage?

So if its 12V 7A can it power 5V 2A?

No it does not work the same way for voltage
